CIMALP: Built Under Pressure
This project defines performance as something constructed under constraint, not displayed as an outcome.
The visual direction is built on a simple principle:
progress is forged through resistance.
Cold, instability, moisture, and impact are not backdrops, they are the conditions that validate the product.
close-range human focus to express effort and concentration material realism to reveal product performance under stress a controlled color system balancing cold environments with precise accents
The system is structured around three layers:
1. Human focus
Close-range framing isolates effort, concentration, and control. Performance is shown in the moment it is being built, not after.
2. Product under stress
Materials are exposed to friction, water, ice, terrain, to demonstrate function, durability, and reliability. The product is treated as proof, not styling.
3. Controlled visual language
A restrained palette (cold environments with precise accents) ensures consistency across scenarios while reinforcing a technical, performance-driven identity.
The result is a scalable visual system designed for campaign, product communication, and digital platforms, where narrative and function operate as one.
AI-assisted image generation was used as part of the art direction process to prototype and refine the visual system.
